Growing up in Paris on our Englum Farm, my mother would frequently take us in town to the library. We were to choose a or several books, whatever we could read in 14 days. I grew up reading & I am still an avid reader. As a child, my favorite was a beautifully illustrated book of the Brothers Grimm Fairy Tales, or any books like it. Aesop's fables, Hans Christian Anderson, Ali Baba & the 7 Thieves. The Library was beautiful. Mother always took us to the lower level to look @ the art work also. That Library was a magical place during my life (1951 - 1969 when I left). I miss such a library. Well Done to PARIS PUBLIC LIBRARY. Mary C. Englum Durham RN, BA. My sister Aggie feels the same way.
